Use this guide if you accidentally withdrew your Ethereum or tokens from Binance using the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network and want to move them to the Ethereum mainnet network (or another network).

Summary

To recover coins on the BSC network, use a third party app that is compatible with the BSC network and the BitBox02 (MyEtherWallet or Rabby). Then you can send the coins back to your Binance wallet and withdraw to the correct network.
Make sure your BitBox02 is up-to-date with the latest firmware version.
Do this by installing the latest BitBoxApp then navigate to Device settings then click on Firmware update available and follow the on screen instructions.

Using MyEtherWallet

1) Connect your BitBox02.
Note: Make sure the latest MyEtherWallet is running by clicking ctrl/cmd - F5 to refresh the page.

If you are not using Google Chrome, please make sure you have the BitBoxBridge installed.
3) Click Access wallet Hardware wallets > BitBox02
4) Unlock the BitBox02.
5) Select the address you sent the coins to and then change the network to BSC.
6) Click on Send transaction in the sidebar. From here you can send the coins back to your Binance wallet.
Note: you will need a small amount of Binance token (BNB) to pay for the transaction fees to send back to your Binance wallet. If you don’t have any, you can buy them on Binance and then send them to the same address.

7) Once you send the coins back to your Binance wallet, you can now withdraw them to the correct network, such as the Ethereum mainnet. Be sure to select the correct network this time!

Using Rabby

Rabby is a browser extension wallet (similar to MetaMask)
1) Install Rabby from the Google play store.
2) Install the BitBoxBridge (if you haven’t already). The BitBoxBridge lets the BitBox02 communicate with Rabby.
3) Connect your BitBox02.
4) Open Rabby. Usually located in the top right corner of your browser.
5) Follow the on screen instructions to connect your BitBox02 to Rabby. When prompted, be sure to enable the BSC chain.
For more detailed instructions on how to setup Rabby, please follow this guide.
6) In the Rabby menu, click Send
7) Switch the network to BSC
Note : if you don’t see BSC here, click on All chains and then add it to your pinned networks.

8) Now select the coins you wish to send and transfer back to your Binance wallet
Note: you will need a small amount of Binance token (BNB) to pay for the transaction fees to send back to your Binance wallet. If you don’t have any, you can buy them on Binance and then withdraw them to the same address you just logged in with on MyEtherWallet.

9) Once you send the coins back to your Binance wallet, you can now withdraw them to the correct network, such as the Ethereum mainnet. Be sure to select the correct network this time!
