To provide you with better privacy and data protection, we are upgrading our support email system. This article lists our official email addresses and explains the changes you will see in our communications.
For support, the best and most secure way to reach us is through our official contact form.
Important update to our support email
Our new primary support email address is support@mail.bitbox.swiss.
To improve data security, we are moving away from Google Mail to more private, self-hosted solutions. As detailed in our blog post, "[Improving email data protection]," this change gives us more control over your data and reduces our reliance on third-party providers.
How this change affects you
Our previous address, support@bitbox.swiss, still works. However, in the near future, all replies from our support team will be sent from support@mail.bitbox.swiss.
We highly recommend adding support@mail.bitbox.swiss to your email contacts or address book. This will prevent our replies from being incorrectly marked as spam.
List of all official email addresses
Any email that does not come from one of the domains listed below should be considered a phishing attempt.
-

-
support@bitbox.swiss(Legacy support address)
-
privacy@mail.bitbox.swiss(For privacy-specific inquiries)
- Emails from our legacy @shiftcrypto.chdomain are also legitimate but are being phased out.
Remember, we will never ask you for your 24 recovery words or other sensitive information via email.
