Sell Bitcoin directly from your BitBoxApp account using BTC Direct through the BitBoxApp Marketplace. The BitBoxApp helps you choose the account you want to sell from, then opens the BTC Direct widget where BTC Direct handles the sale, account access, identity verification if required, payout method, and order confirmation.
Depending on your region and BTC Direct account, you may also be able to sell supported cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin. To sell a specific cryptocurrency, select the corresponding account in the BitBoxApp before opening BTC Direct.
Who is responsible for your BTC Direct sale?
BTC Direct is responsible for account creation, identity verification, order execution, payout methods, and fiat payouts. BitBox provides the hardware wallet and BitBoxApp, but does not process the sale, perform identity verification, or send fiat payouts.

What happens after the sale?
You can close the BitBoxApp after the sale has been confirmed in the BTC Direct widget and you have received the BTC Direct order confirmation.
BTC Direct then monitors the blockchain transaction and processes the fiat payout once the order requirements have been met. Payout timing can depend on the selected payout method, BTC Direct processing, banking rails, and network confirmations.
