If you want to verify the checksum of the BitBoxApp found in our download page, you will need to keep in mind:
- On macOS, the downloaded DMG-file needs to be used for verification, not the BitBox app file inside it.
Assuming the current BitBoxApp version is 4.27.0, open a terminal session and type shasum -a 256 BitBox-4.43.0-macOS.dmg if the file is in the current terminal directory, or shasum -a 256 /path/to/BitBox-4.43.0-macOS.dmg if the working directory of terminal session is different.
