This article guides you through customizing the BitBoxApp's look and feel to make your security journey more comfortable. You can change the display language, set your preferred currencies, and enable dark mode right in the Settings menu.
Before you start
- Ensure you have the latest {BitBoxApp version} installed.
Accessing appearance settings
To modify the appearance settings in BitBoxApp:
- Open BitBoxApp.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select General.
- Now you’ll see the available customization options under Appearance.

Manage active currencies in your portfolio dashboard

- Access the Appearance settings as described above.
- Select Active currencies.

- Use the checkboxes to select which fiat currencies you want to see.

- You can also select BTC or sat (satoshi) to display your whole portfolio in Bitcoin or its smallest unit on the main dashboard.
- After selecting, you can switch between your Active currencies directly in the My portfolio dashboard by clicking on the currency abbreviation (e.g., USD, EUR, BTC, or sat).

Toggling Bitcoin Values in Satoshis for Specific Accounts
The option to display Bitcoin values in BTC or sat is now controlled directly within your specific accounts, giving you more flexibility. A satoshi (sat) is the smallest unit of Bitcoin (0.00000001 BTC).
- In the BitBoxApp, click on any of your Bitcoin accounts to view the account details page.
- Click directly on the currency abbreviation (e.g.,
BTCorsat) displayed next to your balance. - The value will immediately switch, and the BitBoxApp will remember this setting for that specific account.
