Our personal support call helps you get started with your BitBox and answer any questions about your device.

This guide walks you through the complete process—from purchase to joining your support session.


Step 1: Purchase the support call

You can access the support call in two ways:

  • It is included in your onboarding bundle, or
  • You can purchase it separately in our shop:

Step 2: First email – book your call

After your purchase, you will receive your first email.

This email includes your Calendly booking link.

Step 3: Book your appointment via Calendly

Click the Calendly link in the first email. This will open the booking page in your browser.

Follow these steps:

  1. Select your preferred date and time
  2. Enter your details and required information
  3. Confirm your booking

Step 4: Second email – meeting confirmation

After completing your booking, you will receive a second email.

Manage your booking (calendar, reschedule, cancel)

In the second email, you will also find options to manage your appointment:

  • Add the session to your calendar
  • Reschedule your booking
  • Cancel your booking

Reschedule your call

Click “Reschedule” in the email.

This will open Calendly in your browser, where you can:

  1. Select a new date and time
  2. Confirm your updated booking

Cancel your call

Click “Cancel” in the email.

This will open a cancellation page in your browser, where you can:

  1. Select a reason for cancellation
  2. Confirm the cancellation

Step 5: Prepare for your support call

Before your scheduled session, make sure everything is ready:

  • Your BitBox02 device is available
  • You have access to your confirmation email
  • Your internet connection is stable
  • Your browser supports Google Meet (recommended: Chrome)
  • Camera and microphone permissions are enabled

Step 6: Join the call

At the scheduled time:

  1. Open your confirmation email
  2. Find the section “Location”
  3. Click “Join now” to open the Google Meet room


After clicking the link, Google Meet will open in your browser.

If you use another browser, ensure that camera and microphone permissions are enabled.

  • Turn your camera on or off
  • Check your microphone settings

When ready, click “Ask to join”.

After clicking “Ask to join”, you will enter a waiting room.

Please wait until the support expert admits you to the call.

What to expect during the call

  • The session takes place via Google Meet
  • You can keep your camera on or off

FAQ

Do I need to purchase the support call first?

Yes. You will only receive the booking email after purchasing the support call or an onboarding bundle.


In the first email titled “Action required: Book your call with BitBox”.


In the second (Calendly) confirmation email with the subject:

 under the “Location” section.


What happens if I join late?

You may miss part of your session. We recommend joining 5–10 minutes early.


Do I need to install any software?

No. The call runs directly in your browser via Google Meet.


Will you call me on the phone?

No. You must join using the Google Meet link provided in your email.


No. We can help with BitBox and Bitcoin usage, but we do not provide financial advice.


Is the call recorded?

Yes, for liability reasons.


Is it safe to share my recovery words during the call?

No. You should never share recovery words, passwords, or private keys.
