For most destinations, your order is shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), meaning all import duties and taxes are already included in the final checkout price.
However, due to updated tariff regulations and carrier restrictions, DDP is not available for certain countries.
What does DDP mean?
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means that we handle and pay all import duties and taxes on your behalf.
- When DDP is available for your destination, you will not have any additional fees upon delivery.
Countries and regions shipped with DDP
We currently offer DDP shipping for:
- European Union (EU)
- Most other countries worldwide (except those listed below)
Orders shipping to Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Germany do not require DDP, as they are processed domestically or within the customs union.
Countries where DDP is not available
Due to changing tariff requirements and carrier limitations, DDP is not offered for shipments to the following destinations:
- United States
- Mexico
- Argentina
- (and select other countries where UPS does not support DDP)
If DDP is not available for your shipping address, this will be clearly shown at checkout.
What this means for your order
When DDP is unavailable:
- Your shipment may be subject to import duties, taxes, or courier handling fees.
- These charges are determined by the local customs authority.
- UPS (or the local delivery partner) will contact you directly if payment is required before delivery.
- These fees are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the recipient.
How to check whether your order includes DDP
During checkout, after entering your shipping address, look for the “Duties & taxes” section.
You will see one of the following:
- “Included” → Your shipment is DDP and no extra fees will apply.
- “Not included” → DDP is not available for your destination, and import fees may apply.
If DDP is not offered, the checkout page will display this clearly before payment.

FAQ
Why is DDP not available for the United States, Mexico, Argentina, and other countries?
UPS no longer offers reliable DDP processing for these destinations due to changing tariff regulations, carrier limitations, and inconsistent customs handling. Because of this, we cannot prepay duties and taxes for these countries. Any import fees will instead be charged directly by the local customs authority.
How will I know if I need to pay additional import fees?
If DDP is not available for your country, the checkout page will clearly show “Duties & taxes: Not included.”
When the shipment arrives in the destination country, UPS (or the local delivery partner) will contact you if import duties, taxes, or courier handling fees must be paid before delivery.
Can I avoid import fees by choosing another shipping method?
No. Import duties and taxes are defined by your local customs authority. When DDP is not supported by UPS in your country, there is no alternative carrier or shipping method that allows us to prepay these fees. They are always collected directly from the recipient.
