FAQ
Why can’t I sell without KYC anymore?
Pocket Bitcoin is required to comply with updated financial regulations. As a result, full identity verification is mandatory for both buying and selling. The BitBoxApp cannot override this requirement.
Why can I only sell the amount I bought via Pocket Bitcoin?
Pocket Bitcoin limits sales to the cumulative amount previously purchased through their platform. This applies regardless of which wallet address or UTXO holds the bitcoin.
Does Pocket Bitcoin see my wallet or private keys?
No. Pocket Bitcoin never has access to your private keys or recovery words. All transactions are verified and signed locally on your BitBox02.
