Managing ERC-20 tokens with the BitBoxApp
The BitBoxApp allows you to manage a selection of ERC-20 tokens directly. To display these tokens within the app, follow our Help Center guide: How to show supported ERC20 tokens in the BitBoxApp.
Please note that only a curated selection of ERC-20 tokens can be managed directly within the BitBoxApp. For tokens not listed, consider using third-party wallets to access and manage them.

Supporting EVM-compatible chains
The BitBox02 Multi edition, in combination with third-party wallets like MyEtherWallet and Rabby, supports over 100 EVM-compatible chains as Ethereum Mainnet, Binance Smart Chain (BSC), Polygon (MATIC), etc. This enables you to interact with a multitude of DeFi applications across various networks.

At Shift Crypto, we prioritize security, usability, and transparency. Expanding support to new cryptocurrencies and networks involves significant development and maintenance efforts. Each new blockchain requires specific firmware adaptations and ongoing updates, which increase complexity and can introduce potential security risks.
As a focused and agile team, we’ve chosen a streamlined approach that offers several key benefits:
- Open source: Our BitBox02 firmware and software are fully open source, ensuring transparency and enabling independent security audits.
- User-friendly design: The BitBoxApp is intuitive and beginner-friendly, making it accessible to users at all levels.
