To change the network shown in MyEtherWallet (MEW), open its Network panel and select the intended network. With a BitBox02 Multi connected through MEW's legacy interface, this changes the account view; it does not move or bridge any funds.

Before you switch

Start from the intended wallet dashboard. If you are not connected yet, follow Connect your BitBox02 to MyEtherWallet (MEW).

Identify the exact network you need. To view an earlier transfer, use the network recorded by the sender. To prepare a payment, confirm the recipient's accepted asset and network. A token symbol or address format alone is insufficient.

Switch and check the account view

You are changing the network used to display the account's information. This operation does not require a transaction signature or a network fee.

The screenshots show the English MEW interface. Their account details, balances and prices are examples; use your own intended account and network.

1. Open the network chooser

On the wallet dashboard, find the panel headed Network, usually at the upper right of a wide desktop layout. On a narrower window, it appears above the main wallet panels. Its button shows the current network name and Last Block.

Select that button. MEW opens Select Network.

2. Find the intended main network

In Select Network, select Main for a real asset transfer or balance. The Test filter is for test networks, and All includes both. Enter the intended network name in Find Network, or scroll the list. Check its complete name so you do not select a similarly named test network or a different chain.

3. Select the network

Select the circle at the right of the intended network's row. Wait for MEW to complete the change. After a successful selection, the chooser closes and MEW updates the network's account balances. If the change fails, do not proceed with a transfer.

4. Verify the resulting view

Check that the Network panel now shows the exact intended network. Also check that the account card still represents the address you intend to use. Interpret the displayed balances only for that address on that network.

Same address, separate networks

For the same BitBox02 account, your address is the same on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), and other Ethereum-compatible networks, also called EVM networks. The address alone does not identify which network a transfer uses. Each network has its own balances and transaction history.

For example, if someone sends to that address using BNB Smart Chain, the funds arrive on BNB Smart Chain—even if you copied the address while MEW was showing Ethereum. Selecting Ethereum afterward does not move those funds there.

Always confirm both the receiving address and the network the recipient accepts before sending.

When the network or balance is missing

If the network is not listed, clear the search and check the Main filter. If it is still unavailable, this guide does not establish a way to use it in MEW. Do not select another network with a similar name, enter arbitrary network settings, or transfer funds merely to make a balance appear. Contact BitBox Support to check an appropriate hardware-wallet access path.

If the intended network loads but the balance is missing, follow Find funds sent on another EVM network with MyEtherWallet and your BitBox02. An empty view alone does not establish that funds are lost.

Once the network and account are correct, use Receive ETH and tokens in MyEtherWallet with your BitBox02 or Send ETH and tokens in MyEtherWallet with your BitBox02 for the transaction you intend. Switching networks does not establish that a recipient accepts deposits on the selected network.
