Once Rabby Wallet is set up with your BitBox, you only need your Rabby password for daily tasks like checking balances.
However, for advanced actions like adding new addresses or authorizing transactions, you need to access the "Manage BitBox" settings page. This guide shows you how to get there.
How to access the "Manage BitBox" page
This is an easy way to trigger the connection prompt.
Method 1: Start the "add address" process
- Open the Rabby Wallet extension in your browser.
- Enter your Rabby password if prompted.
- Click on your currently displayed address at the top of the extension window.

- In the "Current Address" window that opens, click New Address.

- A new window called "Add an Address" will appear.

- Click Connect Hardware Wallets and select BitBox from the list.

Method 2: Use the direct link (faster)
This is a more direct path that avoids extra steps.
- Open the Rabby Wallet extension.
- Click on your current address at the top to open the "Current Address" list.
- In that list, click again on your active address (the one with the checkmark).

- A new "Address Detail" window will open. Go to the Source tab.
- Click on Manage addresses under this BitBox hardware.

Connect your BitBox
A new browser tab will open with the title "Manage BitBox". You might see an error message telling you it cannot connect. This is normal.

- Connect your BitBox to your computer now.
- Choose the screen orientation on the BitBox. The device will show "See the BitBox App".
IMPORTANT: Do not open the BitBox App. Instead, click Refresh in the "Manage BitBox" browser tab.
- You will be prompted to enter your device password directly on your BitBox.
- After entering the password, you can manage your addresses in the browser tab.

You can now also sign transactions and perform other actions in the Rabby extension that require your BitBox.
